Well folks, the Summer Series was a good time, but now it's time for the
Winter Series. It's going to be held on a weekend, so that you don't
have to travel in the ice and snow at night. The race will start with
the Co-sanctioned races, so if you are a OBRA member, NW5D Or BRN4D
(Pending) member, come to the race. In the co-sanctioned classes there
will be a Open class, 2500 Novice class, 1000 Novice class, 500 Novice
class and a 5-D Barrel class. These are all jackpot classes, and for
points if you are nominated in any of the other clubs.
Co-sanctioned race sign ups are from 8:30-9:30am, with Time Only's being
run at that time as well, and the race will begin at 10am.
Now, for Rim Rock Riders, there will be the normal classes... Buckaroos
1-8, Wranglers 9-12, Runners 13-15, Racers 16-18, Ropers 19-39, Ranchers
40-up, . and a Rookie class (for horses never to have won any money at
any time barrel racing) 5D jackpot, 3-D poles. You have to nominate for
each class, and ride in 4 of the 6 races to be eligible for the awards.
Sign up for the RRR races will be from 11:30am-12:30pm, with the races
