At our next playday in April we are going to host a “FREE” lunch for all riders. (Spectators can purchase lunch for $5)  The Hatfields are going to provide the hotdogs.  They playday is going to provide the buns, chips, soda, and cookie.

The sun was shining and it was a perfect day for a playday.  We tried having sign ups right by the door entering the arena.  Once everyone realized where we were, they liked the convenience.   We kept the awards table up on the mezzanine by Roseann’s office.  Roseann very graciously helped with the sign ins and awards.   Terri Drago was there all day with drinks and food.   Tim Sell and Doug Vincent were our judges and ground crew, along with Crystal Drake.  Several people including, Greta Bates, Barbara, Lori Durfee, among other’s were helping with the gate.  Several people helped with the raking.  I had a great volunteer crew; people are really stepping up to the plate to help.  Muchas Gracias!!!!  Our RRR Princesses were both there for the run in, with Mikayla Bashian running in the RRR Flag and Alena Hoyer carrying the American Flag.  We ran the full barrel pattern, just like we did last time.  The riders prefer the full size pattern over the OHSET size.  We’ll continue this way for all playdays.  We ran two set of poles, Key hole and then Bi-rangle.  I let everyone pick their own teams and then I opened it up for free time onlys.  No glitches with the timers. We were done by 3 pm.

We gave prizes for 1st-3rd place, and ribbons down to 6^th place.  There were prizes for all the Speed Chasers.
